Here are some early photos of new 3D prints of Zebrafish embryos infected with a fungal infection, a new collaboration with Rob Wheeler and his lab at the University of Maine. Two different 3D scans, one of the embryo and the other of the virus have been printed separately and then stacked on top of each other to become an educational manipulative for the classroom. This Fungal host-pathogen interaction becomes visualized and spacialized to understand their structures at a larger scale in physical space.
